During the 2018 gubernatorial campaign, candidate Ned Lamont signed a pledge vowing that he would uphold the state’s groundbreaking, 44-year-old Freedom of Information Act. The pledge also committed its signatories to supporting public hearings for any bill that would seek to erode or undermine the FOIA. (Read More)
